GCM Press

The Publishing Imprint of GCM Intelligence

GCM Press is the publishing imprint of GCM Intelligence. It consolidates and publishes long-form work examining how capital, execution, and market structure evolve over time.

The publications designated under GCM Press have been developed over an extended period and are intentionally independent of investment offerings, market cycles, or promotional activity. They are written to provide durable frameworks that support understanding across cycles rather than commentary on current events.

Some works recognized under GCM Press were published prior to the formal establishment of the imprint and are designated as foundational titles. Others are released as ongoing research and writing are completed. Together, they form a coherent body of work intended to clarify—not persuade—how capital and operators behave under uncertainty.

Foundational Titles

The Art of the Startup

Operator decision-making before certainty exists

First published prior to the formal establishment of GCM Press, The Art of the Startup examines how real decisions are made when information is incomplete, resources are constrained, and outcomes matter. It now serves as a foundational title within the GCM Press canon.

The Art of Capital

Restraint, timing, and judgment under capital pressure

This work examines how capital decisions are shaped not by opportunity alone, but by restraint, sequencing, and the ability to say no. It explores why disciplined capital behaves differently across cycles and why patience becomes an advantage when uncertainty rises.
